Sounds interesting. Sleeping could be performed once in a day but only in shelter locations like tent, hotel or base. We could even have differend levels of beds which gave differend boosts. For example the one in ordinary tent doesn't look as comfortable as the ones in hub hotel.
But one thing doesn't sound right here: the fact that while sleeping, player is completely motionless. Why encourage that? Why reward from doing nothing? Game should encourage activity and doing stuff, not leaving your game online for coupple of hours. Couldn't sleeping just have 12h (ingame time) cooldown and have instant effect like crafting?
Another thing is what good would this provide us? We already got various ways to heal ourselves. Just because this is a new option, it doesn't mean it's urgent to be implemented.
Stupid idea. Weakened status is here for a reason.
The reason is do prevent once killed character to return in a full strength within a short time. Healing a combat wound in a minute in your tent for free is also highly abusable.
Weakening can be removed with doctor in less than a minute.
