Well you get 10 normal pelts for the hunting rifles. I imagine its 10 golden pelts. However, the guns aren't consumed, just the ammo. So don't look at it like you're losing those assault rifles.

You get 5 golden gecko pelts.
Our homestader shoots every non-member he sees, so we put him into peaceful and quiet place, where no-one enters.
It was even easy - one of us punched him and ran into this house, then let Leon to kill him.
Useful feature, however it needs a bit work yet.
