Can't do that?  Might be how you are doing it, I suppose.  With it in your inventory and (hopefully a tool in your hand), you hold the mouse button while over the item in question, bring up the little menu and use the Face/Head icon for your skills and use Science on it that way, just like you would with Repair if you were fixing it.

And no, afaik, no way to change a name ingame once its set in.

Can you upgrade a level 1 profession to something higher?

yes, with 3k xcaps and finding the proffesion teacher, however the energy expert proffesion takes a whole load more stuff than that

Actually, when my wife and I started recently, her first character had fast shot, and it WAS adding its -1AP to even her HtH combat attacks. (Strong punch was only costing 2 AP while kicking costed 3)

Its been a bit over a week since she played that character, so unless they changed it since, this is how I have seen it to be.

nope, (does the faster hand to hand perk work?) then the  punch will only cost 1 ap to perform with the faster hand to hand perk, bruce lee anyone?

i think it does unluckly you are still melee so you will recive _huge_ dam before being able actually do anything ...
till steank dont get buffed in some way melee chars are wasted

Here's my question: If I have a regular .223 hunting rifle at about %50 percent deterioration, and I but a scope on it by crafting, does it revert back to 0% deter?

Answer: Yes.

I believe so, it does that when upgrading armors, at least.

the game recognises the upgraded weapon as a brand new item, so if you upgrade ANYTHING you'll get a brand new item, i do it all the time with my loot.

If you are just holding "Shift" while typing your messages, then no one can see where you are on the world map. However, if you type "/h" before your message (not sure what the button assigned is), then anyone currently listening to your frequency can see a dot on the world map saying where you are.

Red (Purple?) robe must have all animations, 'cause you can wear this "armor" at Fallout (can't remember 1 or 2, or 1 and 2), so.. this is not a skin, this is an armor, as i know.
Blue robe? wtf?
Grey robe = knife, handtohand.
