-My ideas- More quests, more content, more flavor

(1/2) > >>

kindwill:
This all started with my idea of the "tag" quests.
It is basically an outline,i wont go into much detail in here, just posting my thoughts:
Repeatable quests:
-taxy quests (with outdoorsman requirements maybe),delivering npcs to different cities of their wish.
-food and drinks for the bartenders in every city, for XP
-medicine (stimpacks) for XP for doctors (with doctor requirements maybe)
-for brawlers we should have boxing matches
One time or chain quests (maybe even make an actual storyline for the game):
-quest dependent of steal level (you have to steal an item from an npc and bring to another)
-speech quests
-scientist quests
-scouting quests
-implants quests (quests that add different resistances levels)
Any of these can be turned into repeatable quests if the MODS desire it.
What made me do it:
-there are some skills in the game that little to no benefits,we can supplement that by making quests that depend on them.
Now for the community response :)

Wichura:
My my, what a brilliant idea - moar quests. Why we didn't figure it out before?

Write something and present here, instead of "daddy-i-want-laz0r-eyed-brahmin" threads.

Surf:
Writing quests/inserting new content takes some time - additional to the bugfixing, server maintaining and so on.
Instead of these suggestions you might aswell have written "Suggestion - develop the game". ;)

kindwill:
I see..
Ok we can do without my quests, obviously :D

Gunduz:
Surf is right in what he is saying; you basically said to make the game. However, I don't see the harm in suggesting specific types of quests. If you think that one skill needs a boost (i.e. more uses for it), or you have an idea for a quest that would really add flavor to the game, say so. It's not terribly difficult to add a skill requirement for most dialogs. Personally, I have a few I'm working on, but it wouldn't hurt to have some ideas to fall back on in case I finish these and have no clue where to start.
