I got robbed! (not whine)

Fate:
Yesterday I got robbed in a very interesting way, which I would very much prefer to the blatant shot-in-the-eyes-then-loot approach:

I was hunting for monsters and stumbled upon an encounter of Molerats vs Pigrats, so I started taking them down one by one in turn-based with my dearly beloved .44 magnum (speed loader <- best beginner small gun IMO, especially with fast shot). After half of the critters were dead, a group of 2 stumbled upon my juicy encounter, obviously they opened fire on me, but they did not kill me, they knocked me down and killed all the pig rats that were gnawing away from my paralyzed character (Luckily I ended up with -19 hp).

Hoping they would put me out of my misery like everyone else seems to do, instead they ordered me to tell "pa pi po" three times, to which of course I complied. After succeeding my given task, I was first-aided to life and I was instantly asked to drop all my items to the ground. Having absolutely no chance against a .233 pistol (my favourite gun), I decided to forfeit my items and I was let go.

Moral of the story: I think this how robbing people should take place, instead of the instakills I see very often. By giving the player a chance to live by forfeiting his items is nice, shredding people to pieces is discouraging. I know there are pvp people on the forums, so, hear me out, follow my robber's lead and make robbing stuff much more interesting :).

That is a neat way to get robbed, but to pull something like that would require a brain to think with. Something which most robbers/pkers seem to lack  :-\

Also, best beginner gun is flamer imo (overall that is)

Crazy:
Well, another problem is you just can't decide to only KO your ennemi by putting him in negative HP, it is so fast to kill... It would maybe cool if (if not big nasty crit) when you should be at, lets say, -50, you are automatically at -19 to let you a chance to be healed.

Surf:
A good read. Unfortunately this only happens once out of 1000 random encounters you get.
Most of the time you just get shot, maybe some individual even makes some mature speech at your corpse, like "shits in mouth" or "lol n00b pwned xD".

Fate:
Thanks for the quick replies, this situation renewed my hope in the FOnline wasteland. Otherwise I believe that one could incapacitate an opponent by shooting in low-critical areas, such as legs or hands. Or make the needler pistol ammo have different properties? (Such as poison darts)
