2238 is simulator of waiting

<< < (11/41) > >>

runboy93:
There is always be cooldowns. Stand it or leave it. I have nothing bad to say about waiting times (i spend about 15 hours in fonline per day when there was holiday)

Trokanis:
I get 4-6 hours of play time a day.  I have played every day since wipe.  Most of those hours are spent with a buddy too, to assist and enjoy.  We have ONE gun, NO armor, barely a tent, and 200 caps [thank god from box quest]  Most of this is because of how long it takes to travel, or when you do finally get somewhere, either the "good" NPCS spray the land with m60 ammo and you die, or some PK'n noob takes you out.  There is a TON of waiting that has NOTHING to do with cooldowns.  And if you read the beginning of this thread, most of his irritation was from train times, combined with world map travel speed, and even now the ubers have already driven the price of the cheap cars up over 25K +.  Thanks again to not being able to advance.

Johnny Nuclear:
cars yes, im really glad that cars are usefull, BUT cars price is increasing very very fast, with this rapid price  increase cars gonna be soon totaly unavailable for loners and smaller gangs.

This has been noted, will be fixed in an update.

This could soon be a problem, yes.

Ok. :D

For the rest of the fixes I am really glad they are in now. :)
At the first 2 levels I mostly use Turn Based, to get out of Encounters more easily. Then, especially when you have a friend, craft some 10mm guns. Hunt Brahmin then, make a tent. The moment you create this tent the game becomes much more easy. Concentrate on one area to hunt/make a living and the travelling speed ain't that bad.
