I've recently had a decent amount of free-time and figured I'd go slave a shitload around Den. After enslaving and selling off maybe 50+ different weak ass male slaves and every time selling off a batch checking in on the jobs.
I noticed that when I finally got a job somehow, my reputation was 206, still neutral, nothing you would think is very significant, but after doing the slave run of which I figured a few screens would be interesting to people who are unfamiliar with slaving and almost 99% of the population that has never even bothered trying to be a slaver
:
In the fourth image, (Btw I didnt figure this out till later) apparently, your only real job is to kill these little fucks that start fighting back, and just go back to metzger.... SURE, In fo2 the slavers did all the slaving themselves but you couldnt enslave people at all in that one, doesnt it make sense for slave runs to be like this:
After killing the retaliators, you knock out -hp all of the others and enslave them and just leave, dont bother healing them, since the other slavers will tote them back to metzger.
OR
You talk to one of them, demanding they surrender to slavery, you will need in general about 75-100% speech skill for more than often success in persuasion. of course you always have the choice to just knock their asses out and hogtie em
. And for tribals, you can always hold the shaman hostage forcing them to surrender into slavery. I could go on and on...
After returning to metzger and having -hp most and killed 1 of the four, he's really pissed off, and cuts my pay down to 300 caps, and -50 rep for slaves, I asked for another job, he gave me the usual sorry cutter blah bah blah pissoff thing.
So i just start enslaving some moar!!
, well after I enslaved even more and sold em off in their usual batch of 5 males, I asked for yet anther job as usual, and he had some new dialogue, something about the area being overharvested (By me
) and I took a quick look at mah slaver rep again, sure enough, it was 201 reputation.
Overall, its a very nice feature, but we don't have enough information on how to get the job, do the job, or when the job is available once more after you've completed it, which causes many people to miss out on such a nice little feature for slavers, so if someone could maybe update the slavery section in the wiki on this, I would be much obliged.
