For everyone wondering about Merc combat look at my sig...  Btw people don't understand how merc combat works, its all about ambushing with superor numbers, hell if I'm luck, I could take down a PB wih 200 hp avenger etc with 5 monks with spears if the manage to knock him out, then burst burst to finish off.  Mercs and slaves are also a very good chaotic induser, it tends to demoralize a player about to be crashed down on by a wave of semi-strong well equipped NPCs skilled in their profession.

Edit:  Its a shame btw... that After all this time, what? 6-8 months?  I've never had a merc war with anyone....  its damn depressing being a minority but by god it has its advantages  ;D.

Maybe I don't. Then you just have to explain better if you want to persuade people to support your ideas.

let me explain the last time (for you)

my measure woulndt encourage players to drop their charisma to 1, why? becouse of the charisma priority engine.

npc now tend to 1 person at a time based on arrival, change to attend them based on charisma. example? char 1 player initiates conversatiion with npc to trade, another player but this time with char 3 talks with npc to trade, the npc disregards the char 1 players ( by closing window) and initiates conversation with char 3 player.. and so on so son

this gives the POSSIBILITY for char 1 players to trade, even if all they are going to get from npcs is crap since all players with higher charisma have taken almost everything good. still with me?

because of this factor char 1 players will still be encourage to travel to cities like gecko (since they are more deserted of players) to trade, but gives them  a small possibility to trade in normal towns things like buying bullets, comun stuff, antidotes, without having to travel much

Well looks like I got it all along, I just didn't know there are some safe towns where cha1 dudes can do bussiness. Anyway first of all most cha1 dudes just don't trade because they have trading alt. Maybe this suggestion wouldn't encourage cha1 builds more, it would just make trading alts more powerful because of their high cha. We loners with cha3 would have to deal with constant interrupts caused by high cha trading alts.

Besides before the wipe shopkeepers were able to deal with multiple customers at once, I don't see any reason why this couldn't be implemented back.
