Well post a bug report with all the details you can, in the bug section so that Ghost can take a look.

not gonna give it back anyways, they never give anything back due to bug or the very rare occassion of gm abuse. (which thankfully has been eliminated for the most part this wipe)

gm's helped me with my highwayman issue... if you dont want to bug report and get some help then its YOUR fault.

I need to know, what happens if you left a car in encounter and then died.
Will you forget it's location?

So long as someone didn't drop into the encounter Doctor Exx and take your key, it should still be there visible on the world map for you to see and return to.
