Try to delete faction008.dat, it worked for me.

Yes, a new huge ass map for doing really fun things is what I call "no content".  ::)

My guess is, either custom interface (delete it), or wrong cache files (delete them all except default.cache .

I took off the Transparency mod and worked, but i had also taken fation008.dat as well.
