No guys really, if you want to make a stand against banning for shortcuts or FOCD, this is not the way. I think its pathetic to ban players because they use shortcuts or anything that FOCD has to offer (other than dual log). It has nothing to do with cheating, only some fan was faster than developers on this (since I really believe that shortcuts are planned feature just low prio right now) so they won't support his gadgets. Well its their game ergo their rules but honestly banning for shortcuts?
Nevertheless this thread has 0 chances for survival thanks to first 5 posts.

I wonder where did you get those statistics... 80%? I guess - from your guild/friends, where you all use the same cheating techniques ;p No one would ever ban 80% of players, 'coz if that kind of majority should be baned, then it is something wrong with the game/devs, not with people.

Explanation: you were using chet on other alts, so gm gave ban to YOU, not your ALTs. IP isn't only way they chcec you personality. I know, 'coz I was trying to relog on dynamic IP in less than 10min, but it never works.

Sooo, why they left me 2 alts without ban? I used a cheat on all of them ;)

dont worry cVet's pack is coming out we have got more talented people than 2238 crew, new servers better than this one will come out, just w8 a few months the dev team with their digging sims and gms taken form the same hex in ncr next to the barrel will stay alone with a few crafters and miners :]

Lets play FOnline: 2238 with nowhere near having player count like in the title. In other words - Lets play FOnline: 2238 with about 38 players. :)

I was making quadruple without a problem while I had my characters.

Why? What kind of sick satisfaction do you get by going at it with four completely different characters man? I mean really, despite it being a pixel blaster game, I don't really see the point in cheating, really, 4 alts at once? that's pretty pathetic...

Too bad you need to "cheat" even with your minigunner characters, point and click isn't enough for you? How about using the H.U.M.A.N. reflex system instead of resorting to pathetic means by the way of shortcuts, it will improve your reaction time (albeit slowly, and has some genetic inhibitors...), the more you use the H.U.M.A.N. reflex system the smoother the output gets...
