List of dog upgrades. -make em useful.

What about the ability for a character with high doctor skill to surgically remove the dogs vocal chords and to clip the dogs nails regularly making them high stealth high perception killing machines in PvE?
Can we use buff out and psycho on dogs?
It'd be cool if you could get more than one type of dog too. For example the little girl or whatever in New Reno(? I forget where the second dog vendor is) sells bloodhound and saintbernard friendly mutts or something - ridiculously high perception stats and outdoorsman. And seeing as companions don't gain perks with levels it'd be nice if it was possible to set we could just give them some perks by default such as strong back, pack rat, ranger, explorer, scout maybe you know stuff to make them good utility animals.
Meanwhile dude down in junk town sells mean pitbulls and doberman mutts (yes mutts in both cases, lol at pure breeds in the wastelands) who they make fight to death out behind bizmo's for fun and money. Give them roughly average perception (by dog standards) reasoning their nose, ears, and eyes are all a little roughed up along with the rest of their faces from the hound fighting ring but give them really high strength and agility. And like wise if its possible to give them perks by default give them toughness twice, Faster Hand to Hand Attacks, and either the heavy handed trait or bonus HTH damage a time or two.
Bam two different types of dogs for two different types of companions. Some guys want a loyal buddy for finding stealthers and chasing off theives for them, while others want freaking Dogmeat the junkyard dog who eats danger and craps victory.

I also think there should be a division:
aggro, tank dog - robodog (looks most probable as armored) would have stats like metal armor mk 2
scout dog - increases your outdoorsman by 50%
blind-man dog - increases your PE by 1-2 (up to 8 )
slaver dog - increases your PE in caves by 2 (you hear sounds, or your dog tells you who dwells in the cave)
feral dog (or the unlucky dog from fallout 2) Luck 1 and if the luck was 1 the encounters are 100% bigger, may come with jinxed
attack dog (hound?) mostly concentrated on attack, usual 100 hp and 4 attack per turn,
