I was in a spawn with three mutated molerats on me...when a player came into my screen...at first I did nothing but fight the Molerats...but after a couple of turns of him coming towards me (not saying anything to me mind you and while a bluesuit he had 220+ hp to my 69) I told him to get back...then I decided to shoot him with my AR...just was warning to leave me the hell alone. He then got a second shot just to be sure that our HP might be even (though originally I didnt remember shooting him twice). He then got pissed and said 'why did I say get back and then shoot him..thereby not giving him the chance to move away'! I wont bore you with the back and forth...but after he was injured he moved away while I had to kill a second Player that shot at me....after I left the spawn, I got to thinking:

• Maybe I shouldnt have shot him...I am a crafter..not a PK
• Why do you think he was coming toward me to get close while the three mutated molerats were on me? This forced me to move back and even while after I told him that he was trying to kill me, he never had an answer for why he was easing closer to me.

What are your thoughts? Is there any reason for him to walk UP the damn screen through TWO turns to get near me? I will admit that he at the time was holding no weapons...also his name was garrador...thought he said I couldnt kill him..my AR could have lit him up while he was on the ground...I don't PK. I am a crafter that is just tired of the assholes raping me for my shit! Thank you for your thoughts...

There you have it, if only you would've checked your Pip-boy for various trophies, you would have noticed that "Garrador" has the "Jungle Gym Platinum Award" which means that he's one of the best fist fighters around. He was trying to get near you because he is an unarmed character.

It's not bad to defend yourself in the wastes, I've had couple of these occasions myself too.

It's the wastelands, you shot at some dude you felt threatened by. No worries that's how things work in a post apocalyptic country with the second ammendment. If he didn't want to get shot he'd have kept his damned distance in the first place and even THAT is more courtesy than most people would afford someone, many people would just shoot him outright. He was probably banking on the whole "Crafters aren't PK minded they wouldn' shoot a blue suit I bet. Well good job, you had awareness and noticed suspect actions and acted on it.

Garrador COULD'VE beaten you to a big... bloody... mess....  and thats probably what he was thinking at first xD.  But your aimshots did good job scaring him.

I KNEW it...that guy had me feeling like an asshole...thank you for your replies and your time. Good to know I didn't unjustifiably attack a player and thats also why Garrador kept spamming end TB mode so he could leave...you see I always use a .44 speed loader as my main with the rifle as a backup....he probably assumed its all I had and those damn molerats are hard to kill for me...the other guy in Metal armor was a raider it seems...he got a face full of 5mm burst.....twice...

As an aside, how do I look in the PIPBOY for these awards? So muct to learn here...I thank you all (including Garrador) for the lessons....
