weapon hits (critical) for no damage?
Kimahri:
Hi there,
i have one little question as a newby...
I have a problem with some weapons. i often hit opponents with "no damage", sometimes critical with "no damage" too.
My choice of weapon is a desert eagle or 44 magnum.
I have a sniper build with small arms and finesse.
Regards, Kim

You have finesse and afaik it works differently than in Fo/Fo2 - it adds +10% to crit chance in exchange of giving +30% of damage resistance for target...

... Unless it's a hit with "armor bypassed" critical effect.
Besides, this is precisely how it worked in FO/FO2.

Thanks for the quick and helpful answers, i appreciate it!
Just to clarify:
Opponent: Little Gecko (20% normal resistance)
My weapon: Desert Eagle with 44. JHP Ammunition
Every hit was either "no damage" or critically "no damage", and i really mean every hit...
Does this change with level gain? Or is this based on the weapon?
Regards, Kim
Frosti:
In Fallout character level have no matter. Damge is all about weapon and ammunition in it.
You "no damage" is coused for your trait Finesse. In FOnline (for pvp balance) Finesse greatly reduce your normal damage for gieving +10% critical chance.
So even when you level up you still will be doing very low or no damge with Finesse untill it will be critical armor bypassing hit.
