well, I'm normally a nice guy, but if the guy starts raging when at -hp I hardly think that he's quite ready for the game, I might say that I do my best to cull assholes out of the game, something we hardly need more of than at the moment...

I've only killed one person(bluesuit) in my time here and i do regret it. Even though he had a gun and could've easily shot back, he didnt. Granted he didn't have much and later stole from me. But taking all his hard work in a few seconds just seemed wrong to me.

Still, there are people i want to kill out there.

That's it, I'm definitely going to write an uber beginners' guide. What's a shame is that an experienced player can start with nothing and have his tent within the first ten minutes of playing and be level 21 after 5-12 hours, depending on his build.

I started 5 days ago, and I'm doing ok, about to hit level 15. But level 21 in 5-12 hours? I have certainly played more than that so far. I would be interested to hear about fast ways to level up. I've shot about 600 Rad Scorpions and 300 Mantis so far - it's not very entertaining and apparently not as fast as some other way I don't know yet.

that isn´t meant seriously.
and if yes, there is only a small amount of specialized builds who can get 210.000 xp in few hours.
(only with help / alting / big ammount of guns and ammo)
its even not easy (to get lvl21 in that time) with an unarmed char who don´t need anything and healed his own ass every step.

The best way to kill mutated molerats is with a mauser and decent armor. Pop the muties in their eyes and leave -- don't bother with the other critters. I timed how long it took for me to go from 165k XP to 210k xp and it was 56 minutes. And I had only 4 agility and 6 luck.

no, a 10mm pistol works fine too, it's just that the mauser is the weakest gun and he was trying to show off...

Killing them now with my .44 Desert Eagle and Combat Leather Armour. Take 0 - 2 per hit from them. Crit to the eyes should kill one.  Nice XP.

Or just go unarmed, you have same critical chance. The critical insta-kill to molerats is a bug anyway, I believe.

i just mean, its not correct to say to newplayers : " get lvl 21 in 5 -12 hours, depends on build"
i dont want to talk about noncombat chars, that weren´t fair,
but i simply know that not every kind of character (bigguns, fastshot for example)
is able to levelup that easy with molerats (already posted as bug btw).

iam not sure how long you can suport that way as best way to lvl up in 5 -12 hours. (absolutly not fun btw)
(i still remember one million people who recommend the exploit in necropolis as best way to level up as thief)

Well, given that I will be rolling other characters soon, I wouldwelcome a Thread about how to level.  That seems to be something that is neglected on the forum so far. Plenty of information about other things, but not about levelling (or I've missed it).

The Mutated Molerats are not dieing guaranteed with a crit to the eyes, some are taking 2-3 crits. So if it was bugged, it is not anymore. They are still easy enough to kill though.

I know what you mean, my guy is unarmed and i can say he's poisioned almost 75% of my play time. Its been a week for me and im only lvl 11.

Bullshit, you can buy it for 1000-1500 caps. And you can earn it, for example Im buying broc and xander roots. Unfortunatly, hard to find good workes.

2. Another thing is that players also dont help and the beginning...
