totally unplayable game by begginers

I've been trying to help people as best I can, generally it is veteran players that make it difficult for new ones, here are some lowlights so far.

-giving brahmin hides to a player only to have them come on a day later complaining about being tent raided, tent followers are the scum of FO in my opinion because only new players fall for it.
-taking a new player to a shared base (set up to help new players) so they can grab some noob equipment, they run away and reappear later at NCR selling brahmin hides they stole from the base.
-going on a hunting trip with a new player only to bring them back to NCR and see them get bombed on the way to the store, happened twice to the same player.
-encountering a random wastelander and giving them some equipment, random PKer enters encounter and attacks, luckily the new guy got away and I only lost a 96% det SMG. 10 microfusion cells for 1 broken smg and 14 10mm jhp? Is that worth it? and I shot him in the dick 6 times, nothing is worth that.


New players I would suggest using TTTLA's name colorizing list. I have compared my own list to it, and it is pretty good, despite what people say about it. (Just remove the first part so you don't mark TTTLA members as friends)

Its good idea before start a game , read all info about it  ;)After that all is easy.

I agree that the start might be a bit difficult, but if you read the wiki and the board and maybe visit the irc channel it should be VERY easy to get 10 hides. I really remember all those games i played in the past and some have been really hard. Why do people today always give up if it gets a bit challenging? I dont get it, really. This way you can at least feel awarded if you reach something you had to fight for. Some games are not supposed to be easy at all, and this game is hard but surely not unplayable. How did all the others get to where they are now if its unplayable?

This game is not user friendly...AT ALL. the player base will never go further than it is if things stay like this.i dont even know how people keep playing when all you do are like 3 things,hunt,craft and maybe town control. of course there is theifing but thats stupid all together. Player killing is out of control and keeps new players from wanting to play. What i have said isnt anything new to hear, so whats being done about any of it?

I for one only shoot poeple with higher health than 80, but never really kill them, i try to take em to -hp, and then have a little chat, if they can't see reason I finish em since I guess that they would kill me if they had the first shot...
