Yeah it should.  It's like a big expensive tent with a lot less than 75k worth of resources.
Oh, and you already bought it, but their spawn locations seem pretty random.  I bought one at the NCR mine and the private mine was up northwest of redding.

i bought mine ncr to and mine is at redding to. thanks for the replay :)

Kill slavers, its +10 per kill for most factions and they don't even get hostile. You can burst them from point blank to end the combat before they get a chance to fight back.
It will lower your rep with raiders but I don't know how much.

What are the locations that are forbidden to assault? I am aware of the Fortress and maybe NCR mine, is anyone aware of any other locations?
