You don't want to know...or maybe I'll share some facts. Yesterday I checked it, while I was moving data files from old server:
over 8K registered clients, for average less than 200 online.

We're considering some rules regarding old and unused characters, some of them haven't been touched since November. We should announce something in near future, it's preposterous to keep such instane number of unused client files :)

ProKilleR:
ouuuu that is really big number 8000 prof. :P i think that problem isn´t very bad , just you must remove old profiles that aren´t login  2 months

Hertz:
all your base belongs to fallout  8)

I've been waiting a game like fonline since fallout 2 was released. I always wondered what would it be like to roam the wastes, not as "The Chosen One" on some epic quest for saving the people in village/vault, but as one of many trying to survive and get by.
This game rocks, and it's the first mmorpg that's got my attention and now I haven't played anything else since I started :D I especially like how the gameworld is pretty much run by the players (though I like the idea of guarded cities) and there's not that many quests to do. Also the difficulty is just right : punishing, but not unfair by any means. (I tried to play WoW and Anarchy Online but got bored after 6 hours)
I really like this game a lot and I just wanted to get this out there :D Thank you devs for making the best mmorpg out there. If there's anything I can do to contribute to this project, let me know.

Matak:
It`s goddamn true sunnfi. Even with those bugs this game rocks! And it rocks hard! It`s the best game since F1 and F2. And I would like to thank you devs for your hard and often not appreciated work. Please carry on!
