i was wondering if it had an effect on your barter prices cause i havent noticed too much of a change

Buy things from vendors who dont deal that kind of item but sell it at slightly lower price then sell to a vendor that deals with full price, easy.

Correct, 300% Barter + Salesman won't even do it.

250% barter can sell a "little broken" Metal armor MKII with 2550caps
2550caps can buy a clean one
