Sneak - Loot

You misunderstood, weight reduces your sneak skill currently. I'm talking about picking up heavy objects making you visible.

This is mostly a stupid idea... and it's gamey too. I don't see how picking stuff up would make you more visible than simply standing there - and I don't see how could it disrupt balance in any way. If anything, it keeps sneakers useful after they've done their scouting.

Because that make sense for you someone come in the middle of a warzone, pick up one or two BA + Minigun and run with all this stuff? This is a game, the game play will be better without sneak looter. ATM some faction (like Crazy Barbarian) makes a lot of sneaker, come during TC and loot a lot of stuff without fighting. Some other use dual log to relog with sneak looter. The loot have to stay in the hands of fight winner, this is the point.

I like this idea too. Perhaps a mix between LeMark´s idea and Nice_Boat´s, but TBH, I dont really like looting with sneak ( and sneak generally ) :).

And other factions come as a third party and finish the two that have been bleeding in a close battle off - what injustice! ::) Wasteland is harsh. Detecting sneak looters is possible. Killing them is easy. Having your own helps. There really is no point whining about that. If you loose a lot of stuff to builds like these, it means your skills are lacking in this respect and you should practice more - it doesn't mean you should come to the forums and start pleading for the devs to axe an entire aspect of the game (because yeah, mopping up and looting as of right now is much more interesting than "pick shit up, say goodbye and leave" - which would be exactly the way it'd be without sneak-looters).
