Alternative remote explosives.

I suggest for the upcoming Demolution Expert 3 a new remote for C4.

Instead of being radiocontrolled, it should be triggered by a well-placed shot.

This way, Demolution Experts wouldn't be able to trigger them with their low gun skill, but teamwork instead with snipers.
So, the Demolution Expert will just be able to place the hidden explosive, while a sniper could spot and trigger it to make some damage to a group of armed foes.

As for the suggestion, it sounds good as it would be a team effort. Maybe the explosion would be big because if you have to detonate (shoot) it right as their going over, a little lag that can be quite common can make it useless.

Why not just leave it as is with a remote but also allow it to be shot to explode? C4 without a remote or any kind of sensing trigger defeats the purpose of C4 IMO. And technically, C4 cannot be detonated by a gunshot.

Also I'm not sure where you're getting C4 from. I know there's plastic explosives, but it never specifies what type. If it's just generic 'plastic explosive', then we could assume it's a type that allows for gunshot detonation. Then there could always be the option of remote detonation or detonation by a sensor.
