if i make a new character and have my old one make him stuff like armour/weapons ect. obv waiting for the 10min cool down between switching. is that classed as cheating? not that i see anything wrong with it though

As long as you don't avoid the 10minutes timeout no one has anything against it. :)

Well to be honest if you are really considering playing here you will need like 'tons' of ALT characters. Fighter's(sg,bg,en,throw,scout), repairman, doctor, crafter's (sg/bg/en/doc), taxi.
As long as youre not using fast relogs you may play with many characters.

No, it's allowed to use other characters as long as you wait 10 minutes between switching.

I only have 4 characters and none of them are for anything but fighting.

You don't need alts you just gotta be smart.
