Actually, if you stay in the game for over 10 minutes and leave, the lobby will stay open for another five minutes even if it's empty.

I know some people hacked the game and don't see any obstacle. Hiding behind objects is not so smart, unless its in a very deserted location.
I killed someone's cow in Necropolis once, there were good stuff in it, psycho miniguns caps  ;)
