distress calls, too late to call for help

(1/2) > >>

xanister:
what determines if it is too late to call for help? Was hunting and couldn't carry all the loot so I called a friend to help, wouldn't let me, just kept saying, "Too late to call for help." Anyone know anything?

Michaelh139:
The encounter distress call is only possible during the first 10 minutes of encounter lifetime.

Basically distress calls are so fucking nerfed they are useless except for regrouping.

GroeneAppel:
yeah the whole distress is usseles. Most of the times you need help are actually when stuff turns out to be much worse than you first thought.

Only reason to use it is for TB traps.

corosive:
or for regrouping! lol it's THE best way to regroup ANYWHERE in the wastes.  But hey those first 10min are still valuable  just try making a distress call in your first turn and the location should stay for a while. Just make sure you are using a channel only your friends know about. Btw you can't go higher then 60,000 on it tho
