well story goes... I was in a town, stealing for experience, had been there for awhile, with out incident, no attacks or nothing special, when a GM teleports in, doesnt say hello, just straight up asks "what are you doing?" I said, because they didnt say they were game moderator, I said "you're too weak to be asking me what I'm doing" he had 63 hit points, afther he left, I relized then he was GM, when he teleported out of there, So, I requested Help saying "I am leveling my theif is there something wrong?"  He came back, fiddle with a few things, then teleported out again, next theif attempt was fail and the gaurds attack me, b4 this they had never attacked.

so I went to another town, to try stealing off other npc's long story short, he shows up and does it again, when he wasnt around, I had leveled from 1 to 13 in about 24 hours of solid human grinding, after this GM appearance, Ivve spent 20 hours and have got 1 level so far.

Does what again? Elvis, GMs can't directly affect your skill rolls.
All he could do is heal the NPC if it was blinded or add more guards in the area.

Also, stealing from NPCs who don't attack you is AI exploit, don't do it. Steal only from NPCs who attack you if you fail. And don't be silly, leveling up thief is absolutely lame and risk-free so stop whining it got a tiny bit harder (though I doubt it really did, probably you were just unlucky).

its now 16 hours later after GM visit, I have not gotten a single level since, oh and btw jovanka, I had not one death on that char either till  meeting GM, now it has died about 50 times, Also, you say that I am exploiting, how so? please explain, as I only learn from forum guides to level thief from stealing, is there to level a thief other then stealing? I see now harm in me sloggin out in my keyboard clicking back in forth leveling up very slowly, really slowly, now Ive had no luck leveling lost rep in many towns and have had no new level gains and have spent more time more so then b4.  this is clearly interference in this character, and I think its more because of the character then more the exploit,

Yeah GM Vengance :) elvis ever thought of the fact that every next level you need more XP? so basically from some moment stealing is not profitable...
