Quick question-Sneak

I've been leveling a thief recently and I'm wondering if sneak is any good or hell, does it even work?

Check out the Viewing Range and decide for yourself. As far as combat goes, sneak is most often used with grenades or bursting weapons. As said in Wiki, there are a lot of penalties from Carry weight to the Armor you are wearing, but if you get your sneak to 250 or higher, you can still be effective.

Bleh from reading all that I guess sneak then steal combo is near useless....
Unless the person is rushing to a npc and doesn't see you at the time he get the window pop up.

Yeah cause I'm sure thieving is far worse than being ramdomly killed.
Here another challenge, hunt down assholes killing lowbies, No? thought so.
