It's a bit annoying when plenty of items are on the same hex and you want know what they are.
With awareness you you should see a list of the items on the hex and the quantity of them. It would be very helpful and useful.
Of course you should be able to disable this feature with a hotkey or command (different from the actual awareness enable/disable command).


I was thinking a bit:
The item list can be huge and don't know witch solution would be better:

• Show the itemlist at the cursor
• Show the itemlist in the message box

As you know, when you hold down CTRL and click on a hex then the message box shows informations about that (distance, direction). In addition it could show the items too.

And how should the list work?
Example: You drop on the ground 20 pieces of Stimpak, a Leather Jacket, an Assault Rifle, again a Leather Jacket and finaly 15 Stimpak. Then you see the following list:

• 1x Assault Rifle
• 2x Leather Jacket
• 45x Stimpak

Actually I'm not... The awareness is fine, I don't see why let's say an alt who has totaly no need for Awareness all of a sudden needs to waste a perk to save 1 minute of the players retarded life... or maybe not-so-retarded. I'm totaly against that awareness needs this addition, it should be normal, without any perks/skills.

Lockers fill up pretty quickly, therefore has quite limited ammo, making most of the ammo still lying on the ground.


EDIT: Wikipedia explains what does awareness means'' Awareness is the state or ability to perceive, to feel, or to be conscious of events, objects or sensory patterns.''
It doesn't say anything about seeing objects on the ground and determining how much objects are on the ground.

well, you can hardly be able to know how many objects there are in a jumble of items without being aware of it.
