It's a bit annoying when plenty of items are on the same hex and you want know what they are.
With awareness you you should see a list of the items on the hex and the quantity of them. It would be very helpful and useful.
Of course you should be able to disable this feature with a hotkey or command (different from the actual awareness enable/disable command).
I was thinking a bit:
The item list can be huge and don't know witch solution would be better:
- Show the itemlist at the cursor
- Show the itemlist in the message box
As you know, when you hold down CTRL and click on a hex then the message box shows informations about that (distance, direction). In addition it could show the items too.
And how should the list work?
Example: You drop on the ground 20 pieces of Stimpak, a Leather Jacket, an Assault Rifle, again a Leather Jacket and finaly 15 Stimpak. Then you see the following list:
- 1x Assault Rifle
- 2x Leather Jacket
- 45x Stimpak
