It's having a concept for your character and being an actor in a story.  Sure you can make crap up, but it's better to write a story.

Ive met that slave fellow also, tried to follow me when i bought my merc. Then called me a coward because i told him ill just boot his ass off the list,
but not like ill fight someone with 224 or so hp with my slaver being in leather jacket with 77 hp and 1 fresh sledge merc as guard :P
