I hereby would suggest broader bridges, about 3 hexes wide.
Actually, i think the bridges were left from the first Fallout as a countermeasure to Deathclaws, a plank, which could be quickly raised.
But since the Gunrunners have now roboturrets, they could afford themselves broader bridges with symbolic gates.
Thus, the exploit couldn't be done by two people alone, but require at least 6 of them, what would look suspicious to other visitors.
