Town Control Radio Channels

What if there was a radio channel for each town, a predefined one that always stays the same. Then when one gang has the TC over a specific town they can issue rules for their militia acting, like shot everybody armed that is not member of the gang, shot every trouble maker (like in guarded towns) even faction members, shot everybody on sight, and maybe some others.

Then when a player put the radio channel in of that town he can recaive news and is able to check status of the town (what rules did the gang put on the town), also this could be supported by colours of the towns appearing on the world map, if the rules set are for exemple the same as in Guarded towns (shot all trouble makers, even TC faction members) then it will appear green, if shot everybody armed exept gang members then yellow and shot everybody red.

A side idea, what if the controlling factions could put some kind of tax for mining and other crafting/recource gathering actions happening in town, like you need to pay 50 caps to enter the mine. This one could easly become abused though.

Well, some ideas anyway :)

We are already given the town control announcement without a radio so I would prefer that it stay the same like if the West necromancers actually tell their militia NOT to shoot everyone on sight there'll be a breif announcemnt (e.g. 10 second) then the color will change.

Just a little simpler.

And if a gang decides to spam these messages then they would lose control, but only a GM could determine this.

I don't see why there can't be a set channel for each town. Guarded towns would broadcast the same message over and over, but unguarded towns could broadcast the controlling faction and their laws.

About spamming, the beggining of idea was that the player gets the status of the town (its laws, dunno about gang custom message) once he connects to the channel, and each time he sends a command for it, like "/status" or "/S" or simillar.
