i managed to play the game fine on my pc but when my mate tried to connect useing another pc in the house thats connected to the same internet provider through a router he couldnt connect anyone know why ?
we'v tried changing the IP on the configs on his pc which got us through to the menu n we was able to create a person but not able to enter the game??
my pc still has no problems mind..
could it simply be cuz its through the same internet provider?

If he's on the same router (aka same IP address) you could encounter problems because the game has implements to prevent dual logging (one person on two characters simultaneously). Usually though, it's just that a GM will find both of you, put you through some tasks to prove you're separate people, and then leave you alone. Have you tried having him log on first and then you trying on your pc?

Maybe an IP ban ? Can you still access the game ? If yes, then there should be no problem. Check the server your friend is connecting to, using the "NET" tab in FOConfig.exe ; at the bottom of this tab there are options that might help you too (about proxy).

thanks for the help guys iv got it working on both pcs, i had to make 2 accounts on my pc for one to work on his pc for some reason but it works now so im happy
