Lottery
U231:
It would be cool to have an actual lottery in-game, like being able to buy a lottery ticket from casino's.
The win chance should be calculated on what kind of ticket the player bought (different ticket prices) and how many people bought a ticket (limiting one ticket per person or allowing people to buy more than one ticket).
The winner should receive the total amount of caps that was paid for the tickets (by all players) plus a multiplier of the kind of ticket the player bought.
So if only a few people entered (the winning chance is bigger) the payout will be lower.

Normally i dont respond to these, but:
HAH! Do you really think this is a necessary feature? XD
I mean...I dont have anything against it, but...Other issues yaknow
Gambling and casinos should be fixed first, but even that has a risk of literally destroying the economy. Like if you make a gambler alt with 300 gambling that wins all the time, that could flood the market with caps which is bad. When i think about it, not really if the gambling skill only determines how much caps you could actually win, not the chance of winning(that would be determined by luck, like 10 luck means 10% win chance). This way if the entry fee for a game would be like 20 caps, with 10% win chance that means he losts 9*20=180 caps before winning. It would thus only be beneficial with 180+ gambling skill, and even with 300 he would only win 120/10 game. Add a cumulative CD and gambling becomes a safe feature for the economy :P
Oh btw sorry for hijacking your thread, just got a random brainstorm on the fly

i like the idea, just i think winning chances should also depend on gambling skill somehow cause for now the skill is not much made for use ^^

Normally I don't accept opinions from other people ... lol sorry had to make this corny joke.
ANYHOW.. I agree with you.
It would probably be best if the chance to win the lottery would be totally random.
Like the real-life lottery. Meaning it would depend on real-life luck. You cant alt on that ;)

I think to be implemented seriously the win chance shouldnt base on your luck or any skill - REASON - Massive alt running? We had it before and it failed. Lottery yes if only without skill/attribute factor
