have you all just completely ignored my post? your dream deal of 5 lsw mercs will end up with them being shot to death by ANYTHING, since they will attempt to run upfront face to face to shot, and then miss from point blank.......god.........

Clearly you've never used BG mercs, they shoot from range just fine their problems are more line of sight.

clearly i HAD used them, and mercs that are low level for that matter are completely random at best, what i really meant were the SLAVES with LSW's, that have no skill to use them what so ever.
if you actually afford heavy weapon mercs, train them and give them ammo and armours, they should be able to use it all, i find it rediclious that mercs dont even have metal armour, if you can afford it, find it, and put it on your mercs,they should be able to use it as for their glitchy AI's will still make them viable to stupidity

metal mercs can use sg/ew pistols but you need to lvl them before they are any good with them.
