Outrageous merc prizes

Surely ripper crit, smg crit or any eye crit has chance to one shot a player. Besides, what's the deal with slaves being used in combat in first place? You roam the wastes, pick people with you with force and cruelty and suddenly they fight for you.

slave armies are pretty common

vedaras:
first of all who say that slaves should be nerfed havent trained slaves and mercs separately, slaves usually dont aim, has low ctritical chance, mostly sucks with even best weapons, has limited resistance, limited weapon range they can use, and mercs can be real assistance in fight, dealing with your enemies much faster. Only slave that doing good job just like merc is "ghoul crazies", but by buying ghoul sniper you only pay for sniper rifle not for slave too so there is no difference.

Secondly, current system (with which i absolutely agree) increases merc prices if someone buys mercs, and it slowly decreases if mercs arent bought over time. So if mercs cost 8k or something it means players find price acceptable and still buy them, so you should stop whining and try to fit in current economic stage where rich people live ^^

But, anyway.

-They can't wear armor

-They have weak resistance

-They rarely aim

-They have bad aim

-Training a slave is a very time consuming proces, you are better off hiring a fresh new recruit and training him instead.

Basicly, Slaves are brahmin that attempt to shoot back, they are mostly only good for mining or protecting low levels from simple wasteland critters.
Players don't sell them for 500 caps for nothing. I'd rather give them a buff, like a holding pen. Because slaves just aren't worth it to fill up your global holding limit.

I'm not arguing about the logic here, it's just that before the patch merc prices were around 3000 per head. It seems strange that the sudden increase to 8000 would be a mere coincidence or a spike in mercenary interest. It appears that something has happened after the patch and I was wondering if I was the only one experiencing the inflation.
