While this might be an engine thing, I'm hoping not. It would be nice if faction leaders could change the text that shows up when you hover your mouse over the base location. So instead of saying Scrapheap and a useless description, the leader could call it XXX Faction Base or whatever.

Also, when you enter the base the leader should be able to program a message, kinda like the channel topics in IRC. Like when you enter your base it says "PVP event tomorrow" or "We need rockets." Just enough space to fit a sentence or two so the faction leader can relay messages to players who aren't on a lot/don't use IRC.

Maybe then smaller places can get added to the list on the right. Like Golgotha, Ghost Farm, New Reno Stables and Ares, as well as your named faction base.
