Besides, we should take away our pride and selfishness when it comes to ideas. So what if it wasn't your suggestion that made it, the main thing is that the game is improved at least somehow. Maybe one's suggestion didn't make it because it was bad so he should be glad that the game remained good. Everybody makes mistakes and has false images sometimes. One can be completely blind about what's wrong with his representation until someone really explains it well.
It's just when a bad suggestion is posted here, the critique is sometimes directed at the person, not the suggestion. This creates vengeful athmosphere and it's been seen that some people are against each other just out of spite. It's a matter of forum rules and good moderatoring not to forget player's self critique but we can forget that since we're in internet.

Well the main problem here in suggestion forum is that we lack developers voice here. If there is no one who tells us whenether the idea is good or bad then you can expect that it will be suggested several times as it is happening now with some issues like trading, npc followers, new professions etc. We have no idea what is being developed and whats absolute scifi to see it ingame. And I think devs keeping an eye on suggestions forum, but they simply ignore most of its content since they are already set about whats going to be ingame. Devs made nice excuse for themselves why to avoid comments on peoples ideas but without their guidance all we can do is to blindly post our ideas. And in this point they are more or less all the same and only handful of people comes with original suggestions.

Just summarize what suggestions could make it into the game. I know only these:
- using stimpacks will leave you empty hypodermic
- niceboats TC suggestion
- using radio to mark position on the world map

Anyone know anything else?

Some people take the whole suggestions forum quite too serious.
It's just meant for the players, to throw a few little ideas in for the developing process.
No one wants the players to create whole, lotta complex mechanics etc. , it wouldnt even work because we don't know the exact mechanics, the scripting and especially the ideals and goals the devs want to reach with their game.

Creating a few sub-categories would be nice on the first thought, but on the second thought I don't think it's necessary, because of reasons named above and the fact that nearly every thread there get's derailed sooner or later and transphorms into a) flame b) a complete other topic or c) general issues chit chat.

And the reason why devs don't post in suggestion threads so often has been said already a few times, it would simply lead to even more flame, whine etc. if every suggestion would need a yay or a nay from them.

Also, it's not that they have something better to do then answering suggestion threads the whole day. :P ;)

Pandemon:
Firstly, that's game by players for players, so if Devs don't wanna listen our suggestions that's really stupid and show their pride.
Also it's beta - that should mean players have some rights to try their own ideas, even if it's stupid or useless. I think we have time, Devs have time to implement some things from Suggestions board and check the reaction of the rest of players for that. If it's good they should leave it as it is, if it's bad they should remove and try another suggestion.
I still can't stand this stupid pride of them, whenever I want to help (f.e. with lmao rollbacks from some time ago) they said they don't need any help (and were fixing this shit quite long) also most of suggestions (even this where poll says >90% for yes) are ignored.

Now I am just waiting for SDK...

This thread leads to nowhere, thus its being locked...
