Does slaves with low Loyality also attack other players, or just their master ?

I am interrested in putting npcs in bases, not for defend it, just to increase population...

Not sure if this is slave specific, but when im hunting in tb with my ghoul slaves every time I try to gather resources or loot a corpse they initiate tb combat mode and then walk one turns worth and end combat. It's extremely annoying, looting 7 corpses took me 4 minutes when it should have taken seconds. Do mercs have this problem as well?

I have a problem with slaves and brahmin. When I enter a guarded area with slaves OR brahmin they are dead (killed by the guards) before I load in. Is this a bug or am I being an idiot and missing a simple solution?

It's a bug, which town is it?  All towns?

Maybe you set them to attack anyone on sight, or probably you have bad rep

Both are highly unlikely as he is mentioned this has happened on several occassions, I highly doubt he is putting auto attack anyways because then he would also mention he is dying too, and that goes for the rep thing too.

I honestly don't know, I haven't experienced this myself.  It's usually happening to everyone's followers, no isolated cases.

I do have bad rep, but I have never set them to attack all, and I have never been killed after loading in.

He's really funny and nice but he doesnt want to fight.
In combat he just stands still and doesnt react even if hes almost dead, in rt i tried to use alt+order and all in vain.
I gave a proper weapon to him and about 10 bottles of nuka to make him fully loyal.
Yes, he praises me in conversation but in combat is absolutely useless.
any ideas ?

You have to test them, like how much Acition points they have and Strength, and what weapons does he use?

Companion says he uses flamers so i gave one to him.

to test action points, go into TB encounter, and hit him and tell him to flee, then when its his turn, count how many hexes he runs.

for ST, take away all from them, and give him heavy stuff like wood. then if he runs with 67 carry weight, he has 5 ST.

also, he probably has little AP and its 8 AP to shoot a BG for them

You were right, i gave him a shotgun and he seems to be able to "defend" me.

You can always disband him and find a better one, some just suck, some are perfect

and this is exactly what i did.
i have found a female and she is amazing with throwing knifes.
leveling is easier than ever now, all i do is finish dying m-molerats.
