No you cant use tent for that. Tent is not mobile(how you wanna move additional ammo, fix tools from tent near NCR to San Fran deset? Or you wanna run with every loot from Voult City area to Tent near NCR?). Car trunk can store more then you can cary.

If you creating new tent couse this is waht you wanted say I suspect - you lose all items that are in old tent - so you need remove all things from old tent or lsoe them when making new tent - and if this items weight more then you can cary - see my point- you need car.

You always can make 5 or 6 tents with your friend juste need a "train" and 6 differents characters.

Frosti:
This will require more Brahmins skinns then you can carry, and lots of effort to get so many skins for tent train.

Its more logical to use cars.
