hmmmm  Whats the sprite? Large two handed? or small two-handed?  Because if it is large two-handed then no they wouldn't be able to use it in cover. ( Well shouldn't :/ )

It's a great idea, it just has to wait till 2.5D

But a simple version. When standing behind crates/anything you get a +30 ac bonus.
