Awarness on the worldmap

Hello so accidentally Wipe mentioned awareness has some use on the worldmap. what is it?

If you don't have awareness you'll see message like:
You encountered Scorpions and Wastelander.

With awareness you'll see:
You encountered Scorpions and GetIntoEncounterAndIllBurstYouAss

Awareness just gives you a name of a player.

Just wondering, does the namecolorizing.txt affect the color on encounters?
