Also please consider an option for Salarymen for gathering resources and other routine work.
To balance it out, you could make their services very expensive.
Also, perhaps resources could be sold in special shops.

I think it's a good idea, Resp.
I always thought why Redding can't sell ore, even if it's a miner city. Hiring miners there would we another suggestion - you give them an order to mine 20 ore, they say it's done in 15 or more mins, depending on your barter skill.
So barter would affect indirectly your resource provisions.l
