What armor is better

I do love me some combat leather.

i'm just using Leather Mark 2 right now..and i was just wondering if i should upgrade to the next tier

if you're a full combat build than yes, if you plan to craft and gather with a STR under 6 stay with the leather.

You can gather in leather armor or jacket or even in bluesuit.
But every armor under metal is almost useless, but explosions. Even simple leather jacket can save your life vs suicidal bomber at NCR, because it's 20% DR. For hunting and casual wear you can get metal mk2, it's only 2550 at NPC, it's only 319 needler cartriges ^_^

OPMNRG:
is needler any good? should i make those guns instead of grease guns?
