With the introduction of holodisks I decided to start a sort of journal from the perspective of my medic character but unfortunatley i was unable to fit it all on the disk so instead Ill post it here.This is the first time I've ever attempted to write anything and also my first attempt at any sort of RP so please leave your honest opinions.As to why its numbered as entry 193, I wanted to give the impression that Mal is a person living in this world for some time instead of a build i just created 2 weeks ago.I plan to add more entries as events take place around my character and already have a few ideas that could be added if this first one works out.

A massacre took place today at the mines ourtside NCR. Armed gunmen mowing down any and all in their way, slaves, crafters, guards, everyone... It was the Russians again if the screams in the bazzare can be beleived, but it's always the russians, even when it's not. I ask myself for the millionth time if it really matters who pulled the trigger. The bullets certainly don't care and the dead don't seem to have much to say on the subject. I wonder to myself for the millionth time where all of these people came from and how bad it must be in their home countries for them to come to our little corner of Hell searching for some type of releif. I'm a minority in my native land and what little remains of the people of this country spend their days hiding in tents or turning to cannibalism in their dark caves.

All of these thoughts are of course just a distraction to the real problem and I force myself to listen to this poor bastard's incoherant mumblings. A tribal by the looks of him, probably a slave from the mines and how he managed to crawl out of there in his condition I'll never know. He's torn in too many places to count, miniguns don't bother with compassion, all I can do is hope to ease his passing. He asks for some jet and I hesitate knowing full well that the hightened senses will only increase his pain. A nasty habit the slavers have adopted, they knock out their prey and administer the drugs while they're laid out in the dirt, forcing them to follow or deal with the withdrawals. Luckily this one is too long gone to notice the jet canister I put to his lips is empty and he eventually slips away in relitive peace.

This isn't the first day of its kind and it most definately won't be the last. I can almost hope the next time it will be a suicide bomber instead. At least with the bombs, death is almost always instantaneous. No suffering for the victims that way. Like Dr.Fung always says, "The wasteland is harsh and somebody has to pay the butchers bill." I can't bury this tribal, not here in the open like this. I'm too exposed and can't risk being seen out here alone so close to the city.He probably isnt carrying much in his pockets but I check anyway,he's not going to need this knife anymore.I roll him over on his stomach so that maybe the dogs will leave his face when they eat. Not much blood under him. There never is in the waste. The waste is so deprived of moisture that she always drinks the blood of her victims. I can hear an explosion in the distance and the dust cloud on the horizon tells me it's time to move again. I hope I can make it to my tent in one peice.

now thats a bold faced lie..

you know they were off starting flame war posts about russians that just got deleted as you watched saw them laying there in little tiny pieces all over the place.

but in all seriousness, i like the idea well enough, but i want to hear stories about Mal one he was a Vet and had to do house calls with peoples mutie cows, and give anti worm meds to the death claws down south.
