I suggest here same thing I suggested in other topic, proly simple and fast solution:
just decrease sneak effectivness, now its like: 200 sneak for 3 hexes, make it 330 sneak for 3 hexes and racional continual decreasing (fe every 8 % sneak lower= 1 hex "lower"). is it so hard to change it? 200 sneak would work for 19,25 hexes, and that is acceptable I guess?
No, your problem is that people with miniguns sneak up on you, so the answer was allready suggested, and should be done: Sneak penalty for weapons in active hand. Simple as that.
How much? I suggest a penalty that scales with the max range of the given weapon. Active weapon switching should be disabled while sneaking to prevent exploits.
And 300 skill to be "effective" Jesus, does BG need 300 to be effective? Does SG need 300 to be effective? Keep these things in mind when you call nerfs. I dont want to be a "scientist" with 10 int just to sneak. INT is too imba stat as is nuff said.
I for one dont use sneak with miniguns, i use it for self protection, scouting the area. I dont have a weapon in my hand. You want me nerfed because others exploit the skill?
