Are there any quests to increase reputation with the enclave? Or can I join even though i have -450 rep with them :/ (kinda joined VC without knowing that i.. joined them, and can i join the enclave even though i joined VC) I am an armorer and need to join them to get armorer 3.

**just checked that I need to have more karma to get into navarro.... please let there be some way to do that or else I'v wasted my whole character becouse of VC....**

I noticed that, too.
At first, i thought that the reputation system was somewhat like in GTA 2 - to raise your reputation at the NCR, you might need to kill some Raiders, Enclave soldiers, Thugs, whatever, but...

It seems you can ONLY LOWER your reputation and there is NO WAY to wash you west clean.

Please, tell me that i'm wrong. There must be a way to atone your evil deeds. Dig uranium, kill deathclaws with bare fists, crippling yourself or...

Hello

When i've been trying to join the Enclave i accidentally got myself into fist fight with Chris (the robed guy)
Because of doing this my krma with the enclave dropped to -700
Then i left the map, entered again and joined them without a problem even with such negative karma
So i think you shouldn't have any probs too

Then it may be becouse I have joined up with VC, how do I leave them?

NVM, I just found the VC headquarters and left them... then I got shot.. becouse i got -2000 karma with them now... thats a damn harsh punishment for just wanting to leave after joining them by mistake. Then I joined the enclave without problems, 10 int ^^

AND! I got like wtfpowned when I entered NCR by the guards. Is that becouse of the enclave? If I leave the enclave will I be able to go to NCR again?



ON THE OTHER HAND, what is the requirements for armorer [3], I read the guide and it said minimum strength 6 and 180% repair - got both but when i ask about getting it I just get the option that I need to get better etc.

**edit again (i dont like removing previous comments becouse it looks like you are trying to hide your faults ^^) I took ST >6  as a minimum 6 but it does mean more than 6 :/ so ima test with buffout >,< sorry for these edits all the time, still i would like to know if NCR become friendly if i leave enclave

nah, you see what your problem is, is that your not looking at other threads that have explained the entire situation, its common knowledge that the "reputation" system can only be changed negative by killing members of a faction or by joining a faction. I personally have seen about 5 different threads dealing with a similiar issue, no there is no way to get positive karma by doing anything, and the systems not even really a karma system, i have heard it been called a reputation system which is way closer to what it is, but it is unfortunate they screw people over like that.

Ye, I'v asked around on other thread trying to get my answer - wich you gave me on "Requirements for level 2 Profession Armorer? " so thank you.
