Hello, I am new to the forums but been playing the game for a long time.
Choose the third option if you like the fundamental idea but have changes to make to it.
Here is my idea:
When a gang/guild/organization takes control of a city/town they currently get rewarded for it(correct me if I'm wrong). However they do not seem to take on any responsibility besides fighting off other gangs. I would like the game to implement a system in which gangs can "promise" protection from a player. This would create a toll when entering the town, say 5-25 money or equivalent in equipment(price obviously can be different), now the gang will earn money when people visit the town. This creates a strategic need to control towns, as towns with more traffic will be desired. However if a player is PKed in the controlled town it should fine the gang.
Obviously this is a very rough idea, and I'm sure there would be problems with it. Please vote and if you have suggestions to augment the idea let me know. I am interested in hearing yours.
