How does jet addiction work?
« on: April 20, 2010, 02:22:24 pm »

I'm playing a jet addict, and trying to feed my addiction is an entertaining diversion. It forces you to go places you wouldn't otherwise.

So, I'm just wondering how the cycle of addiction works. I realise that if I take jet I'm high for about 15 minutes real-time, then downtime for another fifteen minutes or so. I just don't get the penalties for when your body starts craving.

Is it a case of, if I take it every day I don't suffer the 'You're an addict' stat penalties? Is there a minimum dosage to take per real-time day?

As two side notes: Add more jet to Reno. I went there expecting to be knee deep in jet, and all I'm getting is psycho. Save that shit for the meat heads up north.

Also, it'd be nice if the 'You lost 2 Action points' penalties for the downtime of the drug was accompanied by a message like 'The jet starts to wear off, and you get the shakes and you feel terrible'. And similarly, when your body starts craving jet you get the old 'Everything is moving so slowly... your body is craving for more jet... and more... and more...

Actually, the meat heads in north use jet more than psycho. Just a little correction.  ::)
