HtH/Melee event (12/22/2009)

An event took place today in the Brotherhood Of Steel. The Knights had just left the location, lending us their bunker to make us able to do some funny event... In Hand to Hand !

Event was announced both on the whole server and on the IRC channel #2238. Players came naked, and began to fight, pciking all the weapons they could pick on the floor. Four rounds happened. Three normals, with some good weapons well hidden (Supersledge, Super Cattle Prod, Super Mega Power Fist, etc.) and one with only tremendous weapons and PAs/APAs.

Forgot to write down the names of the winner, but I think there was Galeksja (Won 1st round, 5000xp for her !), Crab (won 2nd round, 4000 xp for him !) and Thaddeus (won 4th round, 3000xp for him !).

Last round ending was epic, with Thaddeus (10 hit points left) fighting Ipod (20 hit points left), both in APA, fighting with fists...

Thanks to everyone, I think those Melee and HtH fighters had some fun. Was fun from my side too, and I think spectators that just came in to observe didn't regret it. Of course, some players came in thinking they could be able to fuck up the event, but, well. I think my PK12 Gauss Pistol and a night in jail were able to deal with them.

P.S. Sorry for the colored names, I use to play on an alt sometimes.

Please repeat it maybe with some
level barrier or in small gun etc.

It was great. Thaddeus and his 112 eyecrit on guy with PA :P But Tadzio sucked without armor when 3 people ganged on him. Anyway - event was nice. Keep up the good work. Can't wait for more hth/melee pvp/pve events :P

1st place Galeksja - 5000xp
2nd place Myxep2 - 4000xp
3rd place Crab - 3000xp
4th place Thaddeus - 3000xp (4th round was with APA and Super Sledges, Mega Power Fists)

I was hit by Thaddeus with Super Sledge, not fun at all lol :P (Inferno here :D)

Ah I forgot, thanks for great event! I hope so you will make more events like this :D

Aww goddamnit I missed this? Will there be another one soon? I've been dying to use my hth character for something other than making rat paste with my fists.
