[Unique Thread] I can't launch the game or Log in

Well, here we go again.
I downloaded the updates as per usual when I saw them posted in the Launcher Change log.
Few minutes later I'm thinking, time to log in, right?
Nope. I launch the client and it gets to the intermission picture before the login screen and freezes. I hear the music to the login screen but the visuals do not manage to get there. I tried pressing enter in hopes maybe it would login anyways. Tried compatibility. Moved folder. Updated some more. Tried the GL client. Same across both. It was working fine prior. My drivers are up to date enough, they're specific to my hardware. I can't see where there would be any plausible cause other than something in the update itself. I reduced the resolution, went windowed, etc etc.
It did give me a crash dump though.

-Edit- Fixed it myself. Did some serious digging and working around. Just the usual stuff. Tweaking and stuff.

ok, i try to play the game and a grey window pops up saying
please send this crash file crashdump_fonline_0414_0402.txt on e-mail support@fonline.ru. The theme of the letter should contain a word . In the letter specify under what circumstances there was a failure thanks.
ive tryed reinstaling the game, updateing it , nothing works i tryed running it adminisrator, changeing the compatibility , still nothing works, ive been trying for hours to sort this out but nothing working ive even emailed it off nothing, please can someone help me with this problem :) i wil be very greatfull thank you very much

Yes, it does (and I can sense the irony in your sentence ^^) but I was just surprised not to see a french section on this forum which is FO2238's official forum. There must be Polish or Russian community forums as well and yet, there is still a russian-speaking section on this forum. Anyway this really isn't that important.

Hi, I can get a character registered, but when connecting to the server, I get the loading screen and it goes right back to the menu, with the "authenticating..." red text in the lower left.

What's the "unknown message<222>" referring to? I'm guessing that's the problem...

Hello, have you run an updater recently? I guess, non-up-to-date client could be the problem.
